The show focused on the medium of watercolor to bring attention to the Watercolor Movement that was pioneered in the 1980s by the alumni of Karachi School of Art. This was mentored by Mansur Rahi, who had been a student of the widely acclaimed watercolorist and modernist Zainul Abedin at Dhaka Art College. The paintings in the show harnessed complex techniques that elevated the medium and highlighted new possibilities. Artists talks and demonstrations by leading watercolorists was a part of the public programming.
