Hasan Kuzagar Kay Naam was one of the sixteen shows held to mark the inauguration of the National Art Gallery,
Islamabad.
The show included ceramic installations, vessels and sculptures by ten leading studio potters and ceramic artists of the country. As the title of the show , borrowed from a popular poem by Noon Meem Rashid , suggests , the curatorial focus underlined how contemporary ceramic
practice is rooted in the timeless clay crafts of South Asia.
The artists included in the show were Arji Karim, Ghania Asad, Kaif Ghaznavi, Mian Salahuddin, Sadia Salim, Salman Ikram, Shazia Zuberi, Shazia Mirzä , Sheherezade Alam and Tariq Javed.
